Based in Sydney when she's not traversing the globe, Tatyana likes to try everything at least once. She's mastered (beginners) yoga in Goa, trekked to Nepal's Annapurna Base Camp, roughed it up in Mongolia, cycled across Tanzania, studied shamanism in California, climbed frozen waterfalls in Canada, and had a short-lived career as a Bollywood star.
Tatyana is the editor the Family Travel magazine, published by Bound Round. The print magazine comes out quarterly and is distributed in Australia and various countries around Asia. The digital version of the magazine is available on all Virgin Australia flights through the carrier's inflight entertainment system.
Her previous travel editor roles include three years as the editor of Travel Ideas magazine (published by Hardie Grant Media for Flight Centre), two years as the editor of Driven (the Peugeot travel lifestyle title), and time spent working on the launch of International Traveller magazine as the deputy editor.
Tatyana also covers travel for Fairfax (Traveller, Sunday Life and Good Weekend), Lonely Planet, body+soul, Woman's Day, plenty of inflight magazines and many other publications.
